Apple Cheese Cake

Ingredients
  

Crust

  • ½ cup margarine
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • ¼ tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup flour

Filling

  • 1 lb cream cheese
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup sour cream

Topping

  • 4 apples macintosh
  • 1 dash lemon juice
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp sugar

Glaze

  • apricot jam
  • orange juice

Instructions
 

Crust

  • Mix margarine, sugar, vanilla, and flour.
  • Use butter or spray on pan.
  • Press crust mix on sides and bottom of pan.

Filling

  • Mix cream cheese, vanilla, lemon juice, eggs, and sugar.
  • Stir in sour cream.
  • Spread mixture evenly over crust and spread to edge.

Topping

  • Peel and slice apples.
  • Toss apples with lemon juice, cinnamon, and sugar.
  • Arrange apple topping around cheese mixture.

Glaze

  • Dilute apricot jam in orange juice, and warm slightly.
  • Brush glaze on top with paint brush that has been soaked in water.

Baking

  • Bake for 50 minutes (10 minutes at 450℉, 40 minutes at 400℉)
